The pricing of our home inspections is based on the type of structure and type of inspection services requested. There is a base level price for a Completed Home Inspection of a one story home on a concrete slab foundation. Then there are additional fees based on:
-
Each additional floor (homes with second or third floor living areas)
-
Crawlspace or basement foundation
-
Homes built prior to 1980 (older homes require more reporting and documentation)
-
Each 1,000 SF above 4,000 SF of living space
-
Each special service such as: Pest, Radon, Mold, Water, Septic, etc.
Structural Inspections are included in Completed Home, Town-home and Condominium inspections, but may be used separately for those who are only concerned about the structural (foundation, framing etc.) components of the home.
Town-home, Condominium, Structural Only and Phase Inspection pricing includes all floors; there is no need to add for second or third floor living areas.
See Inspection Services for more information about each service offered.
Although our prices are not listed here, you may find that our services cost near the market average for Home Inspections in our area. Some inspection companies may charge less than EPI, but be careful; you usually get what you pay for. Likewise, some inspection company's prices are considerably more than ours; these companies typically offer a more elaborate report. These inspections are no better than ours, they just provide more information. We try to find the appropriate balance between level of detail and fees charged.
Payment may be made by cash, check, or credit card. Payment may be made at the time of closing if a credit card is used to secure payment, and closing is scheduled in 30 days or less. A separate agreement is required for delayed payment requests.
Take advantage of our discount! Be sure to use our on-lilne scheduling system and choose the "On-Line Scheduling Discount" of $10.00 per inspection.
